Denise Benz is a Brand Manager, Author & Speaker whose work sits at the intersection of identity, authenticity, and resilience. As a survivor of childhood abuse that went unnoticed and unchallenged by the adults around her, she learned early how to smile, comply, and disappear in plain sight. Her debut memoir, Only My Face Was Smiling, exposes the hidden nature of childhood trauma, the silence that protects it, and the faith that sustained her long before she understood it.
Today, Denise helps leaders, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven women find their voice—in business, on stage, and in life. She speaks in survivor spaces, faith-light environments, and professional women’s events where she bridges testimony with strategy. Denise lives in San Diego, California, and can be found mentoring emerging leaders, speaking at women’s gatherings, and supporting survivors who are reclaiming their voices after years of silence.
